Mail Time

Helen's package arrived yesterday and I just have to say a big thank you! the patterns are just beautiful. I already got the material to start as soon as I finish the quilt (two or three more days).
Ayer me llego el paquete de Helen con los patrones de su BOM de navidad, ya compre la tela para empezar justo despues de que termine mi acolchado (dos o tres dias mas).

Can you beleive it?

This is kind of impossible, mostly to me. I never win any thing, nothing, zero, totally nada; and then, a couple of post ago I mention Helen's giveaway and guess what? I just read the winners and the first name and comment I read is mine OMG! I love Helen's work and I even participate in her summer mistery quilt back in January here is a picture of the quilt

I feel as Happy as Vero when she new she was the winner of one of my wallets LOL.
Maybe because it was one of my grandmother' b-day?


Esto es como imposible, mas para mi nunca gano nada, pero hace dos entradas mencione el sorteo que Helen tenia en su blog y sabran que soy su fan me encanta su trabajo y sus disenos, en Enero participe en su quilt misterioso y bueno la idea de leer mi nombre y mi comentario en las ganadora pues ni me la creo, me siento como Vero cuando le escribi para decirle que era la ganadora de uno de mis monederos.

Wallets and a Giveaway

I had a hard time trying to think about a good title post. so maybe you will find out it has nothing to do what I am going to show you.
I have been trying to make some unique things to sell on my etsy store. I came up with an idea of a wallet with a check book space, cards space, coins and bills and I created this:

Este es el primero que hiceAnd this is one I made for Darlette to match with the purse I made for her, she loved it.
Y este blanco, negro y rojo lo hice para Darlette para que combinara con su
bolsa que le habia hecho antes, a ella le encanto.
And this is the one I made for Monika for her birthday which is today. I send it to her last week and received on Friday, but she was a very good girl and opened her package this morning. She was so cute to call me and scream I love it! That was the best thank you I have received.
Este ultimo se lo hice a Monika para su cumpleanos que es hoy, se lo mande la semana pasada y lo recibio el viernes pasado pero ella como una muy buena nina abrio su paquete esta manana. Le gusto tanto que me hablo super temprano esta manana ritando cuanto le habia gustado.

In another note my MIL received her table runner and some pix of the girls and she called me on Saturday, She also like what I made for her! I think one of the best things that a crafter can receive is a grateful thank you from those recipients. It feeds or soul.
En otra nota mi suegra recibio el camino de mesa que le hice, y me llamo el sabado pasado para decirme que lo habia recibido junto con fotos de las ninas. Creo que lo mas lindo que uno puede recibir es el agradecimiento de las personas por lo que uno hace.

It is going to Argentina!

Alana and I had so much fun doing the giveaway she helped me to choose the winner and here are the pictures. to prove it.

First we mix the "soup" (that is what Alana said we were doing)

Alana y yo nos divertimos mucho preparando el sorteo y aqui estan las fotos: Primero mezclamos la sopita (asi dijo Alana que estbamos haciendo)

Then we picked a piece of our mix.

Despues escojemos una pieza de la mezcla! And lastly we open the surprise lucky name!

Por ultimo abrimos el nombre sorpresa y tenemos...

Oh and Alana was happy this pretty name has two A's of Alana (she is learning how to read) and she taught it was her name after spelling it she found out it was Lavinia (she was happy anyway it has two A's LOL)

Alana estaba feliz de escojer ese nombre pues tiene dos A's que le encantan pues dice que es A de Alana (esta aprendiendo las letras y a leer) despues de deletrearlo se dio cuenta de que era Lavinia y no su nombre pero ella estaba feliz detodos modos pues tenia dos A's de Alana

The time is here sorry I say Monday but if I recall I say (hopefully) anyway here I am on my 100 post and I am very happy. I debate on what to do if a tutorial, or a new design or a giveaway. Well it will be a giveaway.Do you remember the three table runners I made back in January?Two already have a home and the last one needs a nice home to live. A llegado el dia lo siento que dije que el Lunes pero bueno habia un "espero" entre el dia ja ja ja.Bueno aqui estamos para celebrar mi entrada numero 100 y estamos muy contentas. Pense en que iba a hacer si un tutorial o un diseno o regalar algo y aqui esta. Se acuerdan de los caminos de mesa que hice en Enero? bueno eran tres y dos ya han ido a sus respectivos hogares solo queda uno que necesita un lindo hogar en donde le den mucho amor. I also taught about how to do it. and here is how It will happen.
