I just finished my projects for Beatrece, on the paper bag swap. They will be traveling to their new home in France tomorrow. I cannot beleive how long it took me to finish but I am finally done. I can just guive you a pick of what I made for her but pictures will be shown as soon as she receives them.Apenas acabo de terminar los regalitos del paper bag swap. Happenings down here

I have been so busy, between the garden, the house chores, the crafts I want to do, plus the girls I end the day just exhausted. Hubby is on a business trip and I miss him mostly because he left me this:

He estado tan ocupanda, entre el jardin, ninas, casa y las manualidades que quiero hacer al final del dia simplemente esto exausta. Hubby esta de viaje de trabajo y lo extrano aun mas porque me dejo esto:

These are just the small plates, he left love notes in every plate and bowl, I feel loved and that makes me miss him even more.

Estos solamente son los platos de ensalada. Me dejo notas en cada uno de los platos y tazones y eso me hace que lo extrane aun mas

A couple of days ago I took the girls to the Museums at BYU, Alana loved to visit she felt in love with all the pretty flowers there she even asked me to buy the flowers from Grandma's garden. I thought it was so cute of her.

Hace un par de dias lleve a las ninas a los museos que tiene BYU. Alana disfruto mucho del viaje y aun mas de los jardines y ya queria que comprara las flores para llevarselas a la abuelita. me gusto que haya pensado en ella.

New Blog

For at least four months I've been having the idea of creating another blog just for food storage and emergency preparedness. Last Wednesday I finally took the decision of doing it. It is a lot of work because it is just in Spanish. The thing is that there are lots of places to get information about the topic but all in English. I wish all the people could get all this wonderful data. then one night I could not sleep thinking about how important this is. Since the health crisis put everybody to the edge of concern.
If you are interested about learning about this topic pop on my blog even though it is all in Spanish I do have a list of blogs and web sites on the side bar that are all in English. The name I choose is "Prepared Families" I hope you can go and check it out.

Por lo menos desde hace cuatro meses he tenido la idea de crear un nuevo blog acerca del preparacion para emergencias y almacen familiar. El Miercoles pasado finalmente tome la desicion de hacerlo. Me esta tomando algo de tiempo pues es todo en Espanol, la cosa es que todos los lugares en donde uno puede obtener informacion estan en Ingles . Desearia que todas las personas pudieran tener esta informacion y bueno desde la crisis con la influenza me he dado cuanta que realmente es necesario hacer mi parte.

She never stops amazing me

This time I am talking about Darlette, She send me this pictures that are wonderful inspired by this. I already made my request for Alana and Grace.

Also she made this beautiful purse, well she says that she has made several now (all different) to give as presents. I think it is lovely! Now you know who got all the talent genes.

Ademas ella hizo esta hermosa cosmetiquera o mas bien varias y todas diferentes. las ha hecho para darlas como regalos. me encant el diseno. Ahora ya saben quien recibio todos los genes de talento.Happy crafting

From the eyes of a three and a half year old...

Yesterday I mention Alana taking my camera and starting to shoot some pictures of the things the thinks are interesting (to her). I thought it was a good way to see what she sees through the camera lens.

Ayer comente que Alana decidio tomar fotos con mi camara de las cosas que ella mensaba interesantes, pense que seria una buena idea para ver que es lo que captura y ve atravez del lente

It came from France

Betrice my partner on the paper bag swap organized by Sam send my package back last week and today it was on my mailbox. It was exciting I was on my way to work in the garden but I left everything and I grabbed my camera and next thing I know Alana is taking pictures! so here they are:

Beatrice mi companera en el intercambio que organizo Sam lla me mando mi paquete de regreso y hoy estaba en mi correo. Fue emocionante, sali a trabajar en el jardin pero me regrese tome mi camara y empeze a abrir el paquete cuando me doy cuenta de que Alana ya estaba sacando fotos asi es que aqui estan.I love the card she send me, the perfect combination strawberries and patchwork. Me ha encantado la tarjeta que me a mandado la prefecta combinacion, fresas y patchwork.
The second things is a basket that is just adorable! I will use it to put my cellphone and my camera to charge. I am still working on her projects that I hope to finish very soon
La segunda cosa que me mando es una canastita muy linda Alana no saco una muy buena foto de ella pero supongo que Beatrice pondra fotos en su blog. la usare para poner mi cellular y mi camara a cargar. Yo sigo trabajando en las cositas que le enviare que espero terminar muy pronto.

It is going to Argentina!

Alana and I had so much fun doing the giveaway she helped me to choose the winner and here are the pictures. to prove it.

First we mix the "soup" (that is what Alana said we were doing)

Alana y yo nos divertimos mucho preparando el sorteo y aqui estan las fotos: Primero mezclamos la sopita (asi dijo Alana que estbamos haciendo)

Then we picked a piece of our mix.

Despues escojemos una pieza de la mezcla! And lastly we open the surprise lucky name!

Por ultimo abrimos el nombre sorpresa y tenemos...

Oh and Alana was happy this pretty name has two A's of Alana (she is learning how to read) and she taught it was her name after spelling it she found out it was Lavinia (she was happy anyway it has two A's LOL)

Alana estaba feliz de escojer ese nombre pues tiene dos A's que le encantan pues dice que es A de Alana (esta aprendiendo las letras y a leer) despues de deletrearlo se dio cuenta de que era Lavinia y no su nombre pero ella estaba feliz detodos modos pues tenia dos A's de Alana
