Sometimes we spend lots of money buying the "perfect" toy and five minutes later the box turns to be the best toy for them. That is what happened last Christmas. This time as I was cleaning some old canning jars, Alana and Grace got hands on my jars box and start having fun with it.
Sometimes I wonder what the simplest things make the most enjoyable games for kids; like a drum set from your pots and pans.

I think some of the best "gifts" we ever got for our kids were the giant boxes that our new washer and dryer came in! They played with those things for months!!!
